Yes there are lots of tutorials for self made curtains, but today I will teach you how to make easy ruffle curtains without sewing machine it’s completely handiwork all u need to sew by hand and you want believe you just love your work
What are the things you need and how to make :
Fabric (materials)
Thread and needle ( needles small n big )
Scissor
Scale/pencil
Measuring Tape
Step 1: There are variants of fabric what ever u are to going to choose pick the double sided fabric it looks good from inside and outside the window you can buy from any market it will cost you less if u buy per meters cloth, while buying don’t forget to add extra cloth.
If your making 2 set of window curtains then you have to get 3 1/2 meter clothes, I hope now you can make out how much meter of cloth u want (in case if u are planing to make for other window or door curtains)
Step 2: Next you have to take measurement of your window accordingly to the length and width mark it with pencil on the bottom of the fabric so u can cut later, ensure to keep always extra clothes for stitching.
For example: If the window measurements is 60 inches long then you have to make it 56 inches remaining 4 inches u have to add by making ruffles.

Step 3: You can see the image of my curtains I already cut the curtains after taking measurements of everything u have to follow this as picture shown

| U can see the picture i had fold the cloth after taking the measurement , now it's depend on you, how much length u want to keep for your window and then remaining cloth u have to cut. Here i already got the rod pocket if u don't have i will teach u how to make. |
Step 4: Prepare strips for the ruffle. In this tutorial i took the measurement of my window ,
for me i took 2/3 inches long, according to that you have to take of your window length (how much long strip u want to add on the bottom layer) if your are making 2 set of curtains u need at least 4 strips each for 2.

Step 5: Gathered the fabric to make ruffle from edge and make it pleats and start stitching by adding one to other till the last edge.
After gathering, if the bottom line is un stitched then u have to stitch straight lines.

Step 6: Now the ruffles are ready,
Step 7: Let’s start making pockets all u need to mark with pencil with the help of scale draw the straight lines on top of the cloth,
Stitch till the edge. Follow this to make second line u can insert the pin or mark it with pencil.

| Before stitching draw the line back side of the cloth , it will be easy for you while stitching. |
Stitch till the edge. Follow this to make second line u can insert the pin or mark it with pencil.

| Try to stitch more closely without gap, here i stitched randomly to saw you. This is front side of the curtain. |
Step 8: It's time to add ruffles on the bottom, while adding u have to stitch from back side

| From the back side of the curtain u have to stitch, u can see the image for single curtain u need 2 pair of ruffle strips. |

| Now u can figure out how much length u want, and how to add ruffles This way u can continue making for other set of curtains. |
